Frequently asked questions
Is the structure included?
No. The system includes the holds, the LEDs, the control box and wiring, the tablet with its wall case and the installation manual. You provide the structure — and if you don't have anyone to build it, we'll help you find a supplier. Fixings aren't included either, but we can add them.
What's the difference between the Standard and the Standard Full?
The wall is exactly the same: 2.44 × 3.66 m. The Full adds 90 crimps (400 holds against 310) and their LEDs → more density and more variety of movement, without taking up more space.
Can I upgrade the Standard to a Standard Max later on?
Yes. Careful though, it's not like going from Standard to Standard Full (the same wall with more holds): here the wall grows. Two side panels are added and the kicker widens, going from 2.44 × 3.66 to 3.66 × 3.66 m: 50% more wall. You have to add their holds and LEDs and rewire the system, and you'll need the space and the structure for the two new panels. If you suspect you'll end up wanting the XL size, starting with the Max saves you the work.
Is it hard to install?
It's easier than a conventional training board, for two reasons. Every hold has its rotation marked: you don't have to go one by one with a protractor. And positions use letters for columns and numbers for rows, like a map — instead of a list of loose numbers you have to cross-check against a plan. You fit the LEDs first, then the holds. With two people, count on about a day for everything. The manual is very detailed and you've got us on the phone.
What's the best angle?
The useful range runs from 0° to 60°. If your structure is going to be fixed, we recommend 20°, 30° or 40°: that's where the system gives the most versatility, and where beginners and strong climbers both enjoy it.
Do I have to pay it all at once?
No. You pay 50% when you place the order and 50% when it's ready to ship. If you want to buy it at this price but can't install it yet, you can lock it in with a €2,000 deposit.
How long does it take to arrive?
Less than 3 months from when we receive the first payment, though we'll try to have it ready sooner.
What warranty does it come with?
3 years on all components against faults. You also have 21 calendar days from delivery to try it: if you're not convinced, send it back and we'll refund you.
